Bloom Florists is a social enterprise florist based in Middlesbrough, North East England. Our core mission is to support people in the community to grow and flourish, offering work experience and training opportunities in the floristry industry to people across the Tees Valley through our training programme.
We offer opportunities to everyone who has been out of work whether due to ill mental or physical health, taking time away from work due to being a carer, recovery from addiction, time spent within the prison system and others. Everyone deserves a chance to thrive and we offer the perfect opportunity for that as part of Recovery Connections Enterprises as a whole. Find out more about our other social enterprise businesses here.
Recovery Connections Enterprises is part of the Recovery Connections Family. Recovery Connections is a peer-led substance use recovery charity, also based in Middlesbrough. Every penny you spend with us goes back into the charity and social enterprise to help support the community now and in the future. Find out more about Recovery Connections here.
The Bloom Team
Nic is our Head Florist and after being in the industry for over seven years, you can trust that she knows her stuff! Her career started at college followed by volunteering, working in a retail setting then onto creating floral masterpieces for weddings before we were lucky enough to have her with us.
I love how flowers can brighten anyone's day no matter what mood you're in. I have had some rubbish days but when I see and smell flowers they work a miracle on me and help pick me up. My favourite flower has got to be a Dahlia but it does change with every season.Nic
Recovery Connections Family
We are part of the Recovery Connections Family, which is made up of four social enterprise businesses: The Fork In The Road, 131 The Venue, The Fork In The Road - Stage One, and Bloom Florists. Having all of these businesses in our repertoire means we can offer a full package for any event including catering and venue space.
